Seniora Jihan

Since 2009, Jihan Seniora has been a researcher at GRIP in the “Small arms and arms transfers” research unit. Her fields of research include international arms transfers (export control, transit, transport…) and transparency in armaments. She also monitors the UN Small Arms Process.  In this context, she follows developments on ammunition controls, small arms’ marking and tracing, and on border control aiming at reducing small arms trafficking.  

Jihan Seniora holds a university degree in Political science from ULB (Brussels) and in European Politics from the Institute of European Studies. She also holds a Master’s degree in International Security from Bristol University.
