Luntumbue Michel

Michel Luntumbue is a researcher at GRIP in the « Conflict, security and governance in Africa » research unit.

He holds a university degree in political sciences and international relations. He supervised and coordinated development projects in West and Central Africa, in the field of capacity building and structuring of organisations. He conducted several studies on development issues, North-South relations and social movements in the South countries (Sub-Saharan Africa and Latin America).  His research work at GRIP includes human security, conflict prevention and strengthening the rule of law in Central and West Africa.  

Michel Luntumbue handles the technical coordination of RAFAL (African Francophone Network on Small Arms), whose members are in partnership with GRIP. Associations dealing with proliferation of small arms, conflict prevention and peace-building compose the RAFAL network.
